Half bingo night, half plant swap, all excuse to get out of the house. Here's how it works — and how to grab a seat at the next one in Oklahoma City.
Plant Bingo is our signature gathering in the Oklahoma City area. It runs like a regular bingo night — cards, a caller, a room full of people yelling "BINGO!" — except every square is a houseplant, and every winner walks out with a real one.
You don't need plant knowledge, bingo experience, or a friend to come with. Most first-timers walk in alone and leave with a monstera and three new phone numbers.
Every seat comes with two bingo cards per round and a marker. Most nights are at local OKC breweries or coffee shops, so order what you love and settle in with your people.
For now we're playing traditional bingo — numbers and letters, just like you remember. Same familiar game, way better prizes, and a room full of people who'd rather talk monsteras than sports.
First to fill a row, column, or diagonal wins. We play six rounds a night — blackout, four corners, and a few surprise patterns mixed in.
Winners pick a real plant from our prize table. Every gathering also has door prizes, so even first-timers usually leave with something green.
Nope. If you can spot a picture on a card, you can play. Regulars love teaching newcomers what's what.
Most of our crowd is women in their 20s to 60s — solos, groups, moms and grown daughters, coworkers, book clubs. Partners and friends of any gender are always welcome.
We rotate between friendly local spots — breweries, coffee shops, and the occasional garden center — across the Oklahoma City metro. Each event listing has the exact address.
Tickets are usually $20–$30 and include your bingo cards, markers, and a shot at winning a plant. Food and drinks from the venue are separate.
Nights sell out fast. Join our community list and you'll get first dibs before tickets go public.
